Sykes Signs Pty Ltd ("we", "us", "our") operates the work. We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how it's protected.

What we collect

When you sign up and use the work, we collect:

  • Account details — your name, email address, and business name.
  • Business data you enter — customers, jobs, quotes, invoices, and related records.
  • Payment details, handled directly by Stripe — we don't store your card details ourselves.
  • Usage information — like login times and general app activity, used to keep the Service working reliably and to contact you about your account.

How we use it

We use your information to:

  • Provide and operate the Service, including syncing data to QuickBooks if you connect it.
  • Process payments and manage your subscription, via Stripe.
  • Send you service-related emails — account notices, invoices your customers receive, trial and billing reminders.
  • Improve and maintain the Service, and keep it secure.

Who we share it with

We share information with the third-party services that make the work run: Supabase (database and authentication hosting), Vercel (application hosting), Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), and QuickBooks (accounting sync, only if you connect it). We don't sell your information to anyone.

Data separation between businesses

the work is used by many separate businesses. Your organization's data — customers, jobs, quotes, invoices — is only accessible to members of your own organization, never to other businesses using the Service.

Where your data is stored

Your data is hosted on infrastructure located in Australia (Sydney).

Your rights

You can access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information at any time — through your account settings, or by contacting us directly. If you're not satisfied with how we've handled your information, you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period after cancellation in case you wish to reactivate, or as required to meet legal and accounting obligations.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll let you know of material changes by email or in-app notice.
